Repair Request Staff Alerts · Effective September 2026

Who these texts go to

Repair Request Staff Alerts sends text messages to building staff only — the building manager and the owners of the property. Tenants are never texted by this program. Tenants who report a repair are kept up to date by email and by their own private status link.

When a text is sent

Staff who have opted in receive a text when:

  • a tenant submits a new repair request;
  • a request that was closed is reopened;
  • a request has not been acknowledged within the expected time.

How staff opt in

There are two steps, and both are recorded:

  • An administrator adds the staff member’s mobile number in the staff area, after the staff member has agreed to receive alerts.
  • The staff member then signs in and confirms consent themselves, by ticking the consent box on their own notification settings page and saving it. The date, time and wording they agreed to are stored with their record.

Consent is never assumed, never bought, and never collected from tenants or from the public. A staff member can withdraw consent at any time, either by replying STOP to any alert or by clearing the box on the same settings page.

Frequency, rates, and how to stop

  • Message frequency varies with the number of repair requests. Some weeks there are none.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will get one confirmation message and then no further texts.
  • Reply HELP for help.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy of mobile numbers

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
